Hill County Moratorium
On May 12, 2026, Hill County commissioners passed a temporary moratorium halting the construction of data centers and other related infrastructure. Download the text of the moratorium below.
How to get your county to pass a moratorium on data centers:
1. Sign up to be a County Petition Leader here.
2. Download the Petition and gather signatures.
3. Deliver the petition along with a copy of the Hill County moratorium to your county commissioners.
4. Email the people who signed your petition and ask them to attend and speak at the next county commissioners' meeting. They need to ask the commissioners to pass the moratorium.
